Kyler
Wilson.
Stories are made by people. Here’s a little about the person behind the camera.

Behind
the frame.
Kyler Wilson is a Nashville-based writer and director whose career has been built on both sides of the camera and just about everywhere in between.
With a background in assistant directing and years spent navigating the organized chaos of film and television production, Kyler brings an understanding of filmmaking that extends well beyond the director’s chair. He knows what it takes to get a shot, what it takes to make a day, and how to bring a crew together around a clear creative vision without losing sight of the story.
His work spans narrative films, episodic television, commercials, and music videos, with projects ranging from intimate character-driven stories to dark comedy and visually ambitious genre pieces.
At the center of his approach is a simple belief: audiences don’t need to be told what to feel. Give them something honest, and they’ll get there on their own.
Kyler approaches storytelling with curiosity, a healthy skepticism of easy answers, and a particular interest in the contradictions that make people human.
He believes great filmmaking is collaborative, preparation creates freedom, and the most memorable moments aren’t always the ones written on the page.
He also believes there’s a time and place to take yourself seriously. That place is rarely a film set.
In the thick of it.
